Entrepreneurship – like filmmaking - can’t be taught…but it can be learnt.
I’m dyslexic. During school, I noticed that traditional education systems create winners and losers.
After school, I saw that economic systems do exactly the same thing.
We made Four Horsemen to understand how the world really works.
We created Renegade Inc. because we knew there would be no more ‘business as usual’.
Renegade Inc. serves people who think differently.
We need those people now.
My entrepreneurial skills didn’t come from business schools.
I agree with Herb Kelleher: “The business of business is people. Yesterday, today and forever”.
I learnt about people by producing theatre in Liverpool and London’s West End.
Also by actually starting business ventures and spending time on cricket pitches around the world.
I also enjoy coaching cricket. There’s a complicated simplicity to it.
